How long does Botox take to work?
BOTOX Cosmetic’s manufacturer says you may begin to see changes in frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet in one to two days, with full results in 30 days. These are manufacturer timelines for those approved areas, not a promise about your individual response or every treatment.
The injection appointment and the result happen on different schedules. Ask your injector when to check in, particularly if this is your first treatment or you are changing products. A comparison with a friend’s result is not a reliable assessment of your own.
How long does Botox last?
The manufacturer describes results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. Your response can differ. Discuss what you notice as movement returns rather than using a fixed calendar date as proof that treatment has failed.
Different products need their own conversation.
Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Daxxify have different formulations and product-specific units. See our product comparison and ask how your prior response should inform the next plan.
How far ahead of an event should I book?
Tell the medspa when your event is scheduled before choosing an appointment. Allow time for your response to develop and for an appropriate follow-up discussion. A first visit immediately before a wedding, photograph session, or other important occasion leaves little room to understand how you respond.
Ask for a timing recommendation based on the proposed product, area, and treatment history. Avoid relying on a guarantee that a particular result will be ready on a particular day. Bring your medication list and previous treatment details, as described in our first-visit guide.
What if I have questions about my result?
West Annapolis Medical Spa’s published policy offers a complimentary touch-up within two weeks when needed. Confirm the check-in schedule with your injector; eligibility for an adjustment and the timing of a full result are separate questions.
Do not decide you need additional units from an early photograph alone. Contact your injector to discuss the concern. Record the treatment date, product, areas, and your experience so a later consultation builds on your history.
How often can I repeat Botox?
The manufacturer’s patient information says treatments should be spaced at least 90 days apart. Your injector determines the appropriate schedule. A maintenance plan should account for your goals, response, and medical history.
When a concern needs urgent attention
Seek immediate medical attention for difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking. Review the product’s medication guide and discuss other symptoms with your treating provider.
